At the National Rifle Association meeting at Bisley, the Kolaporo Cup (seven shots at 300, 500, and 000 yards) was fired. There was a fresh, variable wind at the start. Before the 500 yards range shooting was commenced the sky became overcast. Tho scores at the 300 yards range were: Australia, 258; Britain, 2.58; Canada, £56; India, 255; Guernsey, 253; South Africa, 250. Second range:—Britain, 529; Canada, 520; Australia, 519; Guernsey, 514; India, 510; South Africa, 495.
FINAL. Britain 700 Australia 777 Canada 777 India 75(5 South Africa 711) Guernsey 74!) Edwards (Australia) placed a bull on the wrong target. The Australians' individual scores were:—Harrison, 34, 31, 34; Cross, 34, 35, 33; Harris, 34, :!I, 33; Cutler, 33, 33, 31; Edwards. 32, 2S, 32: Armstrong, 32, 32, 31; Blacklow, 28, 31, 32; Grant, 31, 31, 32. Australia wou the special Colonial prize of JJSO.
