A BRILLIANT SPECTACLE.
THE KING AT THE HISTORIC CHAPEL OP KING HENRY VII. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 22. The ranauguration ceremony cof the King Henry VII Chapel by his Majesty the King afforded a brilliant spectacle. The Queen, Princess Mary, many Royal personages, and members of lesser degree of the Order, with their ladies, attended the service in the Abbey. Thence the King and the Senior Knights, including Field Marshal Lord Roberts, Field Marshal Lord Kitchener, Kohl Marshal Lord Metliuen, Lord Dudley, Lord Cromer, and Lord Charles Beresford, went in procession to the chapel and tcok the oaths. The ceremony concluded by tho installed Knights drawing their swords and holding them towards the altar.-
The Chapel of Henry VII is situated at'the east end of the Abbey, to which it was- added by that monarch early in tho 16th century. In the chapel is the superb monument of Henry VII, in metal, by Torregiano. It is enclosed in a rich perpendicular chantry of brass. The chapel also contains medieval and Renaissance monuments 'of higher intrinsic interest.
