RAND INSURANCE RISKS.
HIGH PREMIUMS IN JOHANNESBURG. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Sydney "Sun" Special—July 23, 6.10 p.m.) London, July 23. There have been further numerous insurances in the London market in connection with the Rand riot risks. Considerable business has been placed. Risks on private houses and offices in Johannesburg have been acceded over a period of six months at 20 shillings per cent.; commercial buildings and thirty shops in l ho city .have been covered at 40 per cent.
