A hydroplanist named Pickles, accompanied by liis mother, flew tho English Channel from Boulogne to Folkestone, in a Caiulron hydroplane, in G5 minutes. His engine mis-lired when two miles from Folkestone, whereupon ho descended and skimmed tho water for the remaining distance.
