Samuel Collier, the new president of the AA'esleyan Conference, in his address, said the Methodist Church had a message. A twentieth cenhiry revival of the old-fashioned Methodist spirit was what the world needed to-day. Much of the best of modern socialist work was only a return to the methods of early Methodism. RELIGIOUS PROGRESS. (Sydney "Sun" Special.) Paris, July 18. At a meeting of the International Congress of Religious Progress, the president (Pastor AVagner) said he believed a new spiritual world was being born.
