— eMESSAGE FOB THE DOMINIONS. ■ By Telegraph—Preas Association—Oopyilffht (Sydney "Sun" Special—July 18, G.lO p.m.) London, July 18. Prior to tlie departure of the members of thb Empire Parliamentary touring party, Sir J. S. Hnrmood Banner, Lord Mayor of Liverpool in a farewell address, requested them to ask the oversea dominions to encounge Imperial commerce and give England prof.oren.ee in trade when preferenco could bo afforded. Lord Emmott (Undcr-Secretary of Stato for the Colonies), in replying, said that they should not under-rate the enormous difficulties which were involved in uniting the Empire more fully. The greater the unity achieved the better. The peoplo of Britain and of her oversea dominions should learn as much about one another as possible-.
