Mr. Andrew Smith, in replying from N'gamatapouri, near Wailotara, considers—(l) That the schools nre not training boys and girls satisfactorily tor life <m the farm. (2) 'L'ho fanners' returns in his district lrom the sale of, products are satisfactory, as also are (4) the postal and telephone services. (G) The work of the Agricultural Department is of direct benefit. (7) There is no buying or selling organisation amohgst farmers in the district.
