EXCHANGES OF LAND
On Question 11, Mr. George Tnrnbull, of i'eilding, sends the following:—ln the case of exchanges (or swopping) of landed property, stamp duty should lx> payable on the 'total amount of both (or all) properties assessed on the valuation of the exchangers (or stoppers).
