The Hon. W. H. Herries characterised as impracticable a proposal made by Mr. Bradney in the House of Representatives yesterday that the Government should provide houses for the whole of the railway men employed about stations. It would be equally inadvisable, the Minister added, to give preference in respect to Government houses to one section of tho railway employees. Commissioner D.
