A YEAR'S FIGURES. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright (Sydney "Sub.'' Special—July 16, 7.20 p.m.) London, July 16. Tho yearly- emigration return to Marcli 31 shows that 407,729 British emigrants left the United Kingdom for places out of Europe. Canada absorbed 185,349; Australia and New Zealand, 92,629; United States, 94,176. Sixty por -centum of tho emigrants were males of the ago between eighteen and thirty, and of these, the skilled trades were represented by 32 per cent.; labourers, 25 per cent.; agriculturists, 19 per cent.; commercial and professional, 15 per cent. Tho immigrants to Great Britain- totalled 71,275.
