The religious maniac, Drysdale, who is charged with shooting his fiancee, Miss Day, in May last, has been committed for trial for wilful murder. He told tho police that ho bought the revolver to shoot Miss Day himself. On being asked why, he replied: "For Jesus Christ's sake." No motive was disclosed.
