V COMPLAINT RE STEPHENS ISLAND. Cargo from tho disabled steamer Aorero ww transhipped to tlio Itawcra at Wellington yesterday, and tho latl<>r vessel left for Patea last evening. Tlio Aorere will bo placed ou the Patent Slip to-day for examination. It has not been decided which firm of engineer; will mako tho necessary repairs. It is cxpected, however, that these will not tako uioro than tliroo or four days to complete. Captain l-'isk's complaint regarding his many attempts to get into communication with Stephens Island is being investigated by tho Marine Department.
