PUBLIC NOTICES. -y A C C I N A T I O N. In view of the existence of smallpox in Sydney and of ,eases of suspected smallpox in tlio Xorili Island of New Zealand, the Department of Public Health urges every person to take advantage of tho protection afforded by vaccination. Vaccination'is performed freo of charge to tlio public by the Public Vaccinators, a list' of whom, in the Wellington, Hawke's Bay, Nelson-Marlborough Health Districts is given below. Owing to an impression oxisting amongst some peoplo that arm-to-arm vagcination is still practised, the Department assures the public that such is prohibited by law in tnis Dominion, and that only pure calf lymph is used. In tho City of Wellington Public Vaccinators will bo in attendance at the Offices of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board in Marion Street between the hours of from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to G p.m. daily until further notice.
