Audemars, tho Swiss aviator, won £400 sterling and a cup valued at XIOO in a flight from Berlin to Paris. Lefcort accomplished a non-stop flight from Paris to Berlin in 8 hours 40 minutes. Berne, July 14. Bider, the aeroplanist, flew from Berne (Switzerland) to Domodossola in two and a half hours. Ho almost despaired of crossing the Jungfrau, and just managed to clear the ice-laden summit, at a temperature of fifteen degrees below zero.
