4 SUMMARY AND FORECAST. i Present indications are for moderate to strong west to south-westerly muds,, with cold, changeable, and showery weather. The barometer will probably continue to fall slowly in the north for a, few hours, and then rise everywhere for a short time. Tho latter part of tho week is likely to prove stormy, especially in the Eouth. , Anticyclomc' conditions ruled on Saturday and Sunday, and . some very severe frosts were recorded on Sunday morning. Tho barometer has fallen considerably in tho south, but shows a slight rise this afternoon. Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed. D 0. BATES.
