SPORTS FEDERATION.
The annual report of the New Zealand Sports Federation shows that tho receipts since its inauguration amounted to .£3158, and the expenditure to .£3005, leaving a credit balance at the bank of .£153. With the preliminary work of organising, the expenditure has necessarily been heavy. The chief items were: Grants to branches, JG93B; salaries, «£964; organising and travelling, ,£407; printing and stationery, .£139. In future the grants to branches will not be recurring, and organising expenses—which mainly consist of advertising, rent of halls, etc.—will be substantially less.
