At the Sydney sheep sales, further larpo consignments, mostly of lambs and lionets, on bahalf of Kw Zealand breeders, wero disposed of at prices ranging from 2i gnineus to SJ-. A BIG DAIRY SALE. An opportunity to obtain first-class dairy cows will bo afforded at Mr. S. H. Lancaster's unreserved sale, which is to take place at his homestead, Fitzherbert East, Palmerston North, on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29 and 30. Tho 600 head to bo offered, it is stated, comprise speci-ally-selectod cows ond heifers from the best herds in tho district, and also 100 head which havo lieen milked on the vendors' own farms. Practically thrwhole of the animals are reported to be high-grado-Jerseys and Holsteins, tho balance being Shorthorn cross of high milking quality. A choice line of 20 three-year-old Shorthorn heifers, just at the drop, will also bo sold. The pedigree Jerseys tu.be offered includo a few choice females, and also 30 jiedigrce and purebred Jersey bulls, chieHy two-year-olds. The Jerseys will bo sold on tho first day, commencing at 12 o'clock, tho sale continuing at 11 a.m. on the second day. The sale will be conducted by Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in conjunction wfth tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. Change is tho order of the day! Therefore we change an old adage.
