HUTT AND PETONE NEWS.
(From Our Special Correspondent.) A meeting of the Petone Boat Harbour Committee was held last evening, nnd a line of policy laid down that will bo submitted to the Borough Council at its next meeting.
Last evening the St. David's Literary Club, at Petone, held a social evening. Misses Cotton, Rodger, Cochrane, Johnston, Gordon, and M'lntyre, and - Mr. Green contributed to the programme. The first competition was won by Miss Bennett and Mr. Cook, and the second by Miss Thompson and Miss Udv.
