PASSENGER AIRSHIPS.
COMMERCIAL SCHEME LAUNCHED. (Sydney "Sun." Special.—July 9, 7.10 p.m.) London, July 9. '".Contracts" have'been let for the construction of "envelopes" for a passenger airship service. It is proposed that the ships will make flights from London to Brighton and Paris, and also to commercial centres like Birmingham. The airships will be run on business lines, but in time of war will be capable of being fitted with guns without any difficulty.
