INSURANCES AMOUNT TO .£9075. , Tho complete insurances—amounting to .£9o7s—in regard to tlio big fue on Laml> ton Quay on Tuesday night are as follow:— Tho Otflgo Buffet premises, owned by Mr. Henry ITr.n, of Hall and Kni:rl\{, solicitors, were insured in tho New Zav land Ofjjco for .£950. Tlic.ro was a policy of JJIOO ill the Liverpool and London and Gtobo Olßco'on tho boardiiiffhouse furniture, and Mr. Paul's private furniture, piano, and personal eflects were insured in tho same office for .0200. The stock of Mr. Baudinet, tobacconist", on tho ground floor of tlio Ofago Buff?t building, was insured in tlio Standard Office for ,£lsll. Mr. Hood's drapery nnd clothing stock and fittings were insured for .£2500 in tho North British Office. Mr. Boucher's - stock and fixtures were covered by policies of ,£3OO "in the■' Yorkshire Office, and of .;! ,£6OO in tho Northern Office. The premises wiero owned by trustees of the .T. A. Allan Estate, and were insured for -£(iOO in tho Atlas Office.. Tho. Lambton Tea-rooms (Mr. M. Grimmett, proprietor) were insured for ,£275 in the Royal Exchange Office. -Mr. Tonilinson's confectionery stock, which was damngod b.v smoke and water, was insured for n small amount in the Guardian Office. Tlvs premises occupied by Hood Bros and Mr. M. Grimmett were owned by Messrs. Gilmer and Mnguire, and wero cove.rcd by a policy of JC4OOO in tho Atlas Office.
