In the House of Commons, Mr. Rowland Hunt (Unionist) asked why Mr. Taylor, a Post Office engineer, had been reduced in rank for purchasing English Marconi shares, while Cabinet Ministers had been whitewashed'. Mr. Herbert Samuel, Postmaster-Gen-eral, replied that the offences were not similar.
