MAN & REVOLVER.
SHOTS IN FREDERICK STREET. Just before 3 o'clock yesterday afternoou a strange affair occurred in Frederick Street, and as the result a man who recently arrived from the country was arrested. It is alleged that tiio mail strolled out into the street with a revolver in his hand, and took a shot at a lifdo dog. He missed. A man named David Fisher carno out to see what tho trouble was, and it is said that the stranger tried a shot at Fisher. Again ho missed. Later, one David Cruickshank was arrested in a hotel. He will appear before tho Court this morning charged with having discharged a firearm with 'nleut to do grievous bodily harm. no had a revolver in his possession wltcn tho police took him in charge. Thero were three "livo" cartridges in tho, .weapon and two discharged shells.
