Messrs. Dal get y and 00., Ltd.. Wellington, report as follows on their fortnightly sale at Levin yesterdayWe offered a. fair yarding of both sheep and cattle to a, large attendance of buyers. Competition was good j for all . lines offered, bidding far any lines of fats being c6pocially keen. We offered a pern of prime maiden heifers, on account of Mr. John. ICebbell, of Ohau, which made the record price of £12 per head, the purchaser being Mr. H. L. Bryenton, of Wellington. We wero successful in disposing of praotioally tho whole of our yarding under tho hatamer at tho -.following prices:—Ewes in lamb, to 135.; fat ewes, 15s. 4d., 15a. 5d., to 15s. 6d.; fat wethers, to £1; fat lambs, to 12s. 5d.; lambs, to 7s. j yearling heifers, £3 Is. 6d. to £3 Bs.; weaners, 16s. to 19a.; oowe in calf, £4 la. to £5 175.; empty cows, to £3 55.; springing heifers, to £5 125.; two-year steers, to £3 175.; fat cows,-£5 45., £5 12e. ■to £7 155.;. fat maiden, heifers, to £12; springing oows, to £7 10s.

Palmerston North on Thursday we hod a moderate entry of sheep and cattle, and have to report a good clearance at rather better prices. Quotations:—Sheep: Small hoggets, 7s. 7d.; store ewes, lis. 2d.j fat ewes, 153.; fat wethers, £1 2s. 3d. Cattle: Old cows, £1 12s. to £2 lie.; store cows, £2 18s. to £3 12s. 6d.; empty heifers, £3 125.; heifers in milk, £8 2s. Gd.; springing cows, £8 7s. 6d.; fat oows, £7 Is.

Abraham and Williams, • Ltd., report:—At Palmeiiston North on Thursday a good yarding of sheep met with a brisk demand, and all lines wero cleared at satisfactory prices; only a small entry of cattle came forward. Quotations:—Fat end forward ewes, 14s. 3d.; forward owes, 9s. to 13s. 2d.; store ewce, ss. to Bs. lOd.; ertra good woolly hoggots, 15s. Id.; good woolly ewe hoggets, 145.; mixed woolly hoggets, 9s. 7d, to lis. 6d.; shorn hoggets, 7s. 9d. to 95.; mixed two-toothe, 14s. 3d.; springing cows, £5 ss. to £7; store cows, £1 IDs. to £2 155.; weaners, £1.
