NARROW' ESCAPE OP A BATTLESHIP. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Now York, July 3. While the engines of the United States warship Louisiana wero being overhauled a steam valvo broke, and the engine-room was flooded. There was danger of the vessel sinking, when Captain Potts organised a collision party, and at tho imminent risk of drowning', closed the liolo. The vessel could not bo beached becauso the fires wero out. Tho bravery of tho crew saved tho vessel from disaster.
