Mr. Walter B. Sloan, the assistant director of tho China Inland. Mission, is duo to arrivo in Wellington'on Tuesday morning from the south. For tho past year lie has been travelling, and has included in his itinerary most of tho principal mission stations in China. He will bo in Wellington for four or five days, and will address several meetings. Mr. J. Fnrrell, representing Messrs. J. C. Williamson, Ltd., is in.Wellington today, en route to Christchurch, where his firm open with tho pintomiino "Puss in Boots" on July Id. Mr. David M'Larcn has been appointed organiser for tho Now Zealand Polico Association. Mr. F. G. Mace, of Messrs. Mace and Nicholson, builders, of Wellington, will leavo on a trip to England by the Arawa, which is to sail in August. He will bo accompanied by his wife.
