SPEED TRIALS.
This afternoon the Wellington Motor Cycling Club will hold a series of handicap speed trials on Matai Road, Miramar, permission having been granted by the Miraniar Borough Council for tho competition. The events will be run oif in heats of four riders each, the first thrco in each heat being entitled to compete again until tho final is reached. Tho first heat will be run off at 3 o'clock. Competitors are asked to be at the start-ing-post not later than 2.45 p.m.
