POULTRY SHOW.
AWARDS IN THE CAT SECTION. There was a large attendance at the Wellington Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society's shew yesterday, the greatest interest attaching to the cat section, which was judged during the afternoon. In all respects the show has been a success this year. The prize-winners in the cat section were as follow i—Chinchilla, male— G. C. Burbery, 1; Mrs. Peterson, 2; D. E. Morris, 3. Chinchilla, femalo—Mrs. Bates, 1. Blue, male or female —J. Saunders, 1 and special prize for best cat in the show; J.. Saunders, 2; Mrs. Bates, 8. Black male or female—Mrs. W. Foglia, 1 and special for best black Persian. Neuter, anyother colour—M. E. Wallace, 1; H. V. Westbury, 2. Persian kitten, underweight months—C. Goodor, 1; Mr. Pirani, 2. Pet cat, any colour (children's class)—J. Saunders, 1; S. W. Bruce, 2; M. Peterson, 3.
