ON THE MARCONI CONTRACT. By Talegraph.—Press Association—CoDrrigit London, July 2. Before the Marconi Committee, Mr. Herbert' Samuel, Postmaster-General, announced that the Government would be unable to enforce the contract with the Marconi Company or obtain damages. It was now free to enter into a new contract. The Committee thereupon passed a resolution to the effect that itlwas unnecessary to inquire further regarding the contract between the company and the Post Office.
