NOMINATION OF. OFFICERS. The nomiiution of officers for the various positions on the executive of the. Danuavirko A. and P. Association closed on Monday. For the position of president, only one nomination was received, that of Mr. E. Averill, of AwariKi, who, consequently, will be the new president. An election will be necessary in connection with the choice of 'two vice-presidents, three nominations having been received for that office: the names of the gentlemen nominated are: Mr. H. Benton (Tipapakuku), Mr. R. S. Cliadwick (Wlietukura), and Mr. James Livingston (Mangahei). Mr. E. A. Ransom (the ijlayor of Dannovirke) is an ex officio vice-presi-dent. Ballot papers will be forwarded to members ten days prior to the annual meeting (July 19), and the result of the election will be declared on that date.'
