PICNICKERS STRANDED.
CUT OFF BY BURNING BRIDGE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrtrht New York, June 30. A fire destroyed a trestle bridge connecting Rockaway Beach with Long Island. Fifty thousand p'cnickers, who wero unablo to get across, wero compelled to sleep in the open throughout the night. A train crossing the trestle bridge caught fire, but the flames wero extinguished before a panic started.
