Sir George Reid (High Commissioner for Australia) introduced to Mr. Walter Runciman (President of the Board of Agriculture) a deputation from tha butter trade requesting ithe. prohibition of colouring of margarine. The Hon. T. Mackenzie (New Zealand High Commissioner) supported the deputation's request. Mr. Runciman promised to consult the Local Government Board.
