Mr. Cook, Federal Prime Minister, speaking at Parrainatta, Eaid the elections had cost the country over ono hundred thousand pounds. It was a costly matter to appeal to the electorate, but whatever happened they were prepared for it. If the Government was allowed to go on, all right; if not, nothing would be left but to spend another hundred thousand on a further appeal.
