IMPORTANT LOCAL MEETING. The attention of cricketers, both players and enthusiasts, is drawn to an announcement appearing in this issue calling a special general meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association, to consider a proposal to remove tho district qualification for membership of the existing clubs, playing under tho Wellington Cricket Association. As this strikes at the heart of the district schcme^which has been' the. cause of much dissension,amongst Wellington cricketers, the decision of the meeting should bo awaited with interest. The llanagement Committee wish it known that the public and those interested will bo welcomed at the meeting, although no one but delegates will be entitled to speak and vote. The meeting is to to held at the Sports Federation Rooms, Civil Service Club Buildings, Ballance Street, at 8 o'clock this evening.
