BANK KATES OF INTEREST. The Bank of England rate was. on February 8, 1912, reduced from 4 to 35 per cent., and on May 9 it was further ro(hice;\ to 3 por cent. On August 29 it was raised to 4 per cent., and on October 17 to 5 per cent. It was reduced to 41 per cent, on April 17, 1913. Tho Bank of France rate was reduced from 31 to 3 per cent, on January 23, 1908, and continued at tho latter figuro until September 12, 1911, when it was raised to >! per cent.
