VIOLIN RECITAL
A violin recital by Mt. Herbert Bloy, under tho auspices of tho Wellington Professional Orchestra, assisted by tho Orphous Malo Quartet, will be given m llis Majesty's Theatre at 8.16 on Sunday ovening next. A fiilvor coin collection will bo taken up. Messrs. Millar and Rutfcer have fir® houses in Wellington, 135 aoros of land in Marlborough, and 800 acres of land m tho Auckland district for ealo or exchange. Messrs. W. Burgess nnd Co., Marton, have C7O acres of I'ordcll land for sale. Dr. Gibb will give an ewldross on "Norman Macleod—Every Inch a. Man ot St. John's Hall, Dixon Street, at 8 o'clock this ovening. A public meeting to consider the odvan-tan-os of amalgamation with the City and Mitamar will be held in the Tea-rooms, Seatoun, at 8 o'clock this ovening.
