LONDON WOOL SALES. Tho quantity of .wool to tie offered at the next of the series of London sales 011 Tuesday' next is 171,000 bales, as agaimst 267,000 bales for the corresponding sales of last year. However, it must be remembered that the courso of the sales last year was interfered with by labour troubles, and .one of the scries hail to lie abandoned. The quantity to be offered on Tuesday is not very large, and judging by the tone of the Bradford top market values should- be well maintained. There is, of course, the situation in the Ralkans to tie token into account, for if war is declared between Servia and Hulgaria. as seems not unlikc-ly. Rusisia, anil Austria may be drawn into the trouble, and that would be very serious. In any case the money market is likely to be stringent, and that must be an influential factor in the situation. The circular calling the meeting included ■a- statement that it had been pointed out that the prevent arrangement of having tlio head oftiee to great, a disi-awo aw/iy from the works \v:is very disadvantageous, necessitating another office in Auckland and practically two boards of directors, thus creating additional expense and oc-cai-ionat delay in deciding matters of importance.
