The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr. Lloyd-George) has introduced a Bill intended to remedy tho hardships complained of under the insuranco scheme. Tho cost will 1)0 mot by extending the period of tho sinking fund to twenty years, and tho payment of an extra State contribution of ,£207,000 per annum.
