Bakhmeteff, Russian Ambassador at Washington, that ho will be glad to mako a new trade treaty With Russia,' d?spito tho existing, trouble regarding the admission of American Jews to Russia. M. BakhmetefF has communicated to St. Petersburg Mr. Bryan's desire. It is understood that. Mr. Bryan is anxious to test Russian opinion as to whether any concessions to American Jews are likely to be offered.
