TWO MEN KILLED AND EIGHT BADLY WOUNDED. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. June 25, 0.30 a.m.) Paris, Juno 24. During the firing of a salute of one hundred guns at Fort Roule, two men were killed and eight men were wounded, four of whom aro not expected to live. The lieutenant commanding tho firing party admits that cartridges wero left near ithe gun, contrary to regulations. When tho friction tube was blown backit fell amongst the reserve cartridges, causing a frightful explosion in the midst of a group of gunners. Tho leg of one man was blown out of t tho fort and fell hundreds of fec-t below. The two who were killed regained consciousness and received absolution before they died.
