June 13.' at the Kapongo, yards, there was a small entry, which sold ae follows: Store cows, small or aired, £1 12s. to ij: eood stores and forward cowe, £5 is. to 195.: fat cows. £7 2iJ. to £7 35.; mixed weaners, £1 6s. 6d. to £1 13s. 6d.; heifers, in calf, £4 10s.; maro and foal, £11 ss. At ltahotu on June 16 there was a fair entry the wliolo of which, with tho exception of two lines of in-calf hcifere, being cleared at the following rates:—Weaner steeTs (rough). £1 153. to £1 16a.: Eood, £2: wcancr heifers, £1 12s. 6d. to £1 155.: heavy .Shorthorn bull, £7; yearling Jersey bulls, ±1 155.: small store or aired com, fl »"• to £2: store cows, £2 15s. to £o 55.: forward corns, £4 2s. Bd. to £5 55.; sprinmns heifers, £4 17s. (id.; nice line of two ana a half-year Holstcin hcife.re, all. showing well forward, and. in fine condition, £8 25. 6d. On the samo day at the Uraiui yards there was a email yarding, selling as follows:—SnrinsiiiE .cow (guaranteed), £8: springing heitera £3 2e. 6(1. to £6: cows and calves, £4 126. 6d. to £» 2s, 6(1.: fat cows, £6 3s. 6d. to £6 155.; bulls, £2 10s.: forward and small fat cows, £5 to £5 10s.; store cowi?, £2 17s. 6d. to £3 10s.; lambs. Sa-ywell, Midhurat; Juno 18, at Or.unake, on account of Mr. P. Walsh; June 18. at Kaponsa on account of Mr. M'Neill: and Juno 19, at KaponiM, on account of Mr. J. M. Stciner.
