THE CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS. By Telegraph—Presa Association— Copyright (Reo. June 21, 0.45 a.m.) London, June 23. A committee, including Lord Grey, Lord Plymouth, Lord Rothschild, wnd Baron. Cowdray, is appealing; for funds for the celebration of tho hundred years' peace between Britain and America. Similar movements are in train in Canada and tho United States. The British Committee proposes to place cu memorial in Westminster Abbey, to purchase Sutgrase Manor, the ailcestral home of the Washington family, and to establish a foundation professorship in AngloAmerican history. The whole'scheme is estimated to cost £60,000.
