A first instalment of tho replies will 1» published in to-morrow's issue, and will include tho viovs of renrosonUitivo and well-known country residents in widely separated districts. llany of tho suggestions that liavo been put forward are interesting and practical, and tho varied views in tho answers to tlite last of tli'e inquiries, "What in your judgment is tlio most important single thing to bo <lono for tho bettering of country life?" will make unusually interesting reading.
