PETONB BOWLING CLUB. Tho annual meeting of the Petonc Bowling Club ivas hold last night. Tho bal-anoo-slieet showed a credit of .£3l Os. 9d. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. H. Palmer; vice-presidents, Messrs. Cowio and T. M'Arthur; secretary, Mr. G. Catos; treasurer, Mr. J; G. Castlej management committee, Messrs. Melhuisli, M'Ewan, Marsden, Colquitt, and Henry; auditors, Messrs. Jones and Wilkinson; delegates to Wellington Centre, Messrs. Catos and Molliuish. PETONE BUILDING SOCIETY. At a meeting of tho shareholdere of tho Petono Co-operative Building Sooiety liekl last evening in tho Central Hall, an appropriation of loan was balloted for.- Mi. ,1 G Parker drew tho lucky number, and being the holder of three shares, he secures a ,£'lso loan without interest.
