Fisher), and have been revised. In due course the regulations will bo submitted to .shipowners for their consideration before being gazetted. The gen oral purpose of tho regulations is to enforce the installation of wireless apparatus on the larger Now Zealand steamers. The innovation will chiefly affect tho vessels employed on tho more important coastal passages. All tho New Zealand steamers engaged in the intercolonial pcrvico have already ■ boon equipped with wireless.
