DEATH OF AN INFANT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Palmerston N., June 18. An infant child, W. Peters, scolded on Monday by falling into a _tub of water, died to-dny. • *"*• A WATCHMAN DROWNED. Auckland, June 18. Joseph' Allen, an old man, was found drotvntfl in the harbour. For ninny years Allen was watchman on thd scows. It is supposed that lie fell off a Phink when Halkina aboard n scoiv last night.
