Tho public of Wellington, having bo market, and to remedy this tho City Council of Wellington erected-a municipal fish market. Now the writer of this was interested in three consignments of fisli, sent to the municipal fisli market, numbering about 420 largo fresh schnapper, and has had
just returned llio sales of the same, for Which ho rneived tho mnenificont sum of ono penny per fish. If this is a sample of what a municipal fish market can do for the fishermen, the sooner they (tho fishermen) retiro from business, the better.-! am, etc., Tho Port, Juno 5.
