Ladies' Division took part. At the annual mootin" of tho St. John Ambulance AssoViation tho Wellington Division was again represented in tho demonstration given. The credit balanco 1 this year is £5 Is., a dccrcaso of is. 4d. from last year but this must bo considered very satisfactory, ns this vear new equipment was bought 1)V the Division amounting to .EG lis. Id. A 6iij>plv of bandages was also purchased, but these were procured by voluntary contributions from members. Iho thanks of tho Division are duo to tho Wellington Union for a donation ot .£5 55., and also for tho consideration shown to the Division. 11l October an inter-district competition was held at Christchurch and tho local division sent down ft sqtind, and succeeded in winning tho competition, and now hold tho Challenge Cup. Tho squad comprised Messrs. ITislop, Campbell. Drennan, and >"icol.
