The attention of readers is elsewhere diiected to the "Benz" Motor-car and commercial vehicles which latter will bo on exhibition at Palmerston North during Show Week. Mr. Jul. A. Lutz, of Wellington, sole agent for New Zealand, has successfully demonstrated tho "Benz" motor lorries in many parts of tho North Island, and anticipates the keen inquiry of farmers and others for _these liichlyperfected motor vehicles which will carry from i ton to 10-ton loads up a grade oven of 1 in 6 upon a minimum fuel, having received the absolute patronage of tho Prussion Army against all competitors.*

A stock sale will bo held at on Tuesday, .Tune 17, beginning at 1 p.m. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., are the agents. The Associated Auctioneers will hold a stock ealo at the Solway Yards, Masterton, on Wednesday, Juno 18.
