TRELOAR MILKER & RELEASER.

0 (By Arrangement.) ' Foremost amongst tho mechanical contrivances that have been put forward in recent years to minimise and simplify the work of dairymen, is the "Treloar" Milking Machine and Milk-Beleaser. Tho inventors and all who are connected with the manufacture and sale of the Treloar are men who have a wide experience in actual dairying, both with hand-milking and with machines. As a result of this experience, they claim to have scientifically solved the problem of producing a machine and parts that approximate as nearly as possiblo to tho natural action of extracting tho milk from the cow's udder. By. tho great demand that has already been created for complete outfits, together with the extraordinary amount of business that hag been done in affixing Treloar parts to plants of other makes now on tho market, it is the boast of the vendors that they will be instrumental in _ entirely revolutionising machine-milking, in a few years, as their milker becomes more widely known. A very strong feature of the Treloar is tho teat-cup, which has been designed so as to give an action when in use similar to that employed by hand-pressure. Instead of the milk being drawn by suction from a smooth, round cup, which creates a continuous flow, and an undue strain upon tho delicate tissues of the milk vein, the Treloar special cup "draws" away the fluid in a natural way, thereby 'romo'ving one of the greatest drawbacks that have confronted the users of machines in tho past. The teat-cup supplied with the machine under notice, the rubber inflation is so arranged that it presents three flat sides, and completely envelopes the teat. This action is brought about by tho presenco of vertical and horizontal ribs of rubber on the surface coming into oontact with the metal covering, having the effect, when in operation, of gripping and releasing the teat just in the same way as the hand operator does. Natural milking is thereby imitated with this inflation, as it has never been done before. It gives rapid and perfect work, 'shippings are reduced to a vanishing point, and, what is still more Important, no injury is done to the cows. With the Treloar "release" the work performed is as good as tho "squeeze," quick and clean, and all that can be desired, because it is obtained in a scientific manner. The Treloar teat-cup case has also been specially constructed, and has merits, peculiar to itself. The firm also supplies complete outfits for dairies, both largo and small, comprising patent Treloar releaser, engine buckets, etc. Those who may he prevented from visiting tho b!iow are invited to obtain further particulars of these machines from the makers.
