The demand was fair for tlio majority of the lines offered, and prices wore as' below:—Cull lambs, to 4s. 9d.; potter ewes, 4s. 2(1.; preserver ewes, Ss- 3d.; black-faco lambs, to 9s. 9d.; fair mixed lambs, 9s. lid.; potter rame, to 125.; light fat lambs, to 13t>.; light fat ewes, to 14s. 5d.; mixed-ago breeding ewefl, to 12s. lid.; two and four-tooth wethers, to 15s. 7d.; fat maiden cwos, 18s. 5d.; empty cows, £3 ss. to £3 165.; light fat cows, £5 125.; store cows, to £2; two und a half-year steers, £5 &>.; three-year steers, £5 lis. 6d.; three-year P.A. steers, in good condition, £6 ss. 6d.; forward bullocks, £7 12s. 6d. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—Wo held a very successful clearing wale on account of llr. A. E. Buxton on Tuosday at Itauniai, and prices ranged as follow :-From £6 10s. to £12 10s. for August, and September culvers; £5 ss. for cows in milk, £5 15s. to £6 17a. 6d. for springing heifers, £1 to £3 10s. 6d. for woanor heifers, £1 12s. 6d. to £3 for store oowa; woancr bull, £2 2s. 6d.; weonor pigs, 83. to 195.; sows in pig, £2 2s. 6d.; boar, £2 2s. At Mt. Brown's clearing sale on tho Eamo day at Levin, tho herd of 70 cows averaged £10 Is.; 20 springing heifers, £15. The New Zealand Loan and jrercantilo Agency Company ' report:—At Upper Hutt role on Thursday wo offered a small entry of stock, which sold readily at tho following rates :-Storo ewes, 65.; cwc3 in lamb, 12s. 2d.; fat wethors, 175.; oowb at drop, £11 ss.
